Default Starting air alert 3

i justt did the first workout today and it was pretty easy but the next weeks i doubt it will be so easy.

although the moment my knees start to feel pain which isnt apart of the exercise im going to stop it straight away.

i was going to ask though can i mix around the workout days because i still have games on friday and after the workouts im probably going to have a shoot around.

now before people start ranting saying how air alert can mess things up im taking all the advice from the program and the minute i feel i am hurtin i will stop.

im not going to do vjb because i dont want to start weights as i am only 5'5 and dont want to mess with my growth.
my starting jump is maybe 28'inches but im not sure i know i can get the rim but during the program im not going to measure.

one last thing is it alright to do the workouts straight after the next day and if so after the later weeks do your legs get totally wrecked for the next day?

yo, im doing vjb now and i dont have any problem. if yu do not want to do weights, there is a bodyweights section for you and it will work fine and wont stun your growth. but real weight training will not stun your growth. studies has shown that jumping cause 5 x the bodyweight impact on your spine. the weights you are going to carry is not going to be 5 x your bodyweight so relax! im 13 and 5"2 and im doing weights - squating 40 kg, and im only 35kg

standing vert: 24 inches (never trained before)
running vert: 25 inches (same thing above)

aim:
1.standing and running vert 30+ inches
2.get the vjb
3.become a centre in my school team cos the tallest centre we have is only 170cm ... dots

liftin will not stunt ur growth... it's just a cop out for people who don't want to lift. trust me, lifting will do you good...

*on a side note I had a PR 1RM last night for deadlift. Didn't have any experience in deadlift really other than maybe a few times over seven years ago. started 12 weeks ago doin 145# for 3 sets of 8 reps... last night I got 355#.

400 lb deadlift is right around the corner.

Ya i agree. I was 5"5 when i started lifting freshman year and now im 6"2 as a senior, and even i had the worst form and everything. I would also max on bench like every single day and wouldnt even let my muscles recover

Why don't you just do vjb plyos and bodyweight? Weights won't do anything to your growth, because lifting weights doesn't affect your growth plates at all. But anyway, you can do bodyweight and you can get good results, and its much safer than air alert.

above weights can effect the growth plate if you have really bad form. like if you have bad form on the straight leg deadlift. but as everyone above said you will not stunk growthy as long as you kep good form. and do not maxout every day.

First of all, don't even start AA3 if you are in a season right now, it's very time consuming as you get into the weeks and your legs WILL get tried.. Go with VJB, since it's not very time consuming and you don't use weights until the weight workouts. Also, lifting weights does not stunt your growth. Whoever told you that is a dumbass.
