Default Re: SuperHops

I have a superhops question. I have been enjoying this thread but had never tried using the superhops technique as I never owned a pair of jumpsoles. Anyway Last night I went back and re-read the Superhops section of TVP and I have a question.

In it Luke Lowry claims that it can add 3 inches virtually overnight. Redsox did it for a week and gained 5. So why is there a 12 week schedule (5 weeks initial plu s a bonus schedule of a further 7 weeks)? How much is he expecting you to gain?

Before the superhops exercise and schedule is described he also goes to great lengths to mention how incredibly tough and taxing it all is and how to never do it in season, with shin splints, etc, and then gives full 12 week schedule. If this training is so hardcore how can you seriously expect to be able to handle it for 3 whole months?

Any thoughts from people who have done it would be appreciated.

Cheers

Jdub

I would suggest you combine the exercises of super hops with those in the science of jumping and you will see great results.

Not to question you, but all you're doing is telling everyone to do what they do plus "the science of jumping." Now I'm a somewhat skeptical person, so can anyone else testify that this program isn't just another AA, and is infact on par or better than VJB or TVP?
