Default would your muscles ever get used to an exercise?

when talking about best exercises there comes out to be a list of things that you MUST have in a program

however if you continue doing the same exercises, will your muscle just adapt?? Therefore you won't be working out the muscles as well????

if so is there a solution to it??

i think it depends,if an excersise, lets just use a bodyweight squat as an example, gets too easy, then i guess ure body is used to the tension and then u would be training endurance,so you would have to challenge ure self more to like a 1 leg squat or something, but if ure doing a barbell squat, just increase weight, and ure muscles will always be challenged

It's true that adding weight to an exercise is one way to produce more stimulus to muscles, but to answer the question: yes, muscles do get used to exercises. Adding weight is obviously one way of keeping your muscles from getting used to the exercise, or plateauing. There are other things you can do too. You can reduce rest time, add more reps, add more sets, use dumbbells if you usually use a barbell or vice versa, switch the set/ rep scheme (for example, instead of 4 sets of 8, 8 sets of 4), using a different but similar exercise, the list goes on. The important thing to remember is that after about a month of doing an exercise the same way, switch it up. This prevents you from plateauing.

there are different exercises that work the same group of muscles, u need to change the sets and reps around as u go along and change at least some of the exercises every month or so

Of course your muscles will get used to it after a while. The way to overcome it is by using two training principles known as progression and overload. By this i mean you increase the intensity of the excercise so if it using a weight you increase the weight or do more repetitions. If it is a timed exercise you do it for longer. So if you are cheast pressing 44kg one week you do 48kg next week to overload.
