i think there's less exercises for the weights program.
the body weights program takes longer and some of the exercises are confusing.

I'm doing Bodyweight because I have very little experience with weight training on legs. Bodyweight is time-consuming (I'm taking 2 hours for Phase I). It makes me realise that my legs are weak actually. Luckily I didn't choose Novice Strength!

But if you have prior weight training experience, I guess you can start with Novice Strength

If you have access to the weights then people generally do the weights. I am currently doing just two lifts for my legs and neither one is with weights. But I have a different training focus then most here.

Also remember that all of your lifting should be completed in an hour. You can't lift for hours at a time and get good results unless you are on steriods.

I suggest doing the novice weights program if you can. Just make sure you are using the right amount of weight: heavy enough to get a good workout, but light enough to do the exercises correctly.

do u have access to weights. if u do then use weights. but make sure u know how to do the exercises well and if u can, have a spotter watching u perform the exercises so u dont do them wrong.
