Body Squats too much?

I have been doing a lot of body squats and have just done 150 yesterday. Do you think numbers in the 200's in a day would be too excessive? I do not bend too far on the squats. Should i use dumbbells when doing the squats to avoid excessive amounts?
On a side note, it seems getting muscle in the thigh is easier than other parts of the body.

The VJB Bodyweight program starts you at 2 sets of 100, which is 200, so no I don't think its too much. After a week of that go to 300.

it saids on vjb to break parallel when doing squats so i think you should bend farther down perhaps.
