Default A quick question...

What's up guys. I just got VJB a few days ago so work with me here (read the whole thing).

Do you think doing the bodyweight program during bball season is a good idea? I'm about to start the novice weights and beginner plyos and by the time I'm done with those the season will be starting. I figure Id get all the plyo work I need during the season and just do bodyweight to maintain/gain strength. Also my jump isn't terrible (haven't tested in a while but it's up in the 20's) but I never have done any kind of plyos. Do you think I should just stick with beginner plyos or move to novice since I already have pretty good reactive strength?

Yeah yeah I wasn't planning on doing plyos during the season, but I guess that means the bodyweight is okay to do.

1st q: i'm not sure, i think you would still have it, but you definitely have to start over.
2nd q: if you playing and jumping a lot everyday, then i think your vert will increase, but will not be much, like 1-3inches.
