it used to be 50, then i got lazy, also that took me 5 years of straight training to get it.

daily stretching will help u heaps ok, but b4 plyometric and some other type activity dont do heavy static stretching as it decreases power output.stretch after.
daily stretching is excellent as it increases flexinility,speeds up recovery times and loosens tight and cramped muscles.
read and learn bout this stuff k dont get confused.

sprinters should have a good amount of flexability, but as i said before no splits of any kind, because it will really screw with your hip flexors. so stretch but dont become to flexable.

how come ballet dancers can do the splits but hey still jump super high?

stretching , while doing spits mostly just effects speed, and its not like doing splits is going to make your vertical jump drop a lot , only a few inches.

i think u would im a track star and we do stretches be4 practice and after practice for 30 min each
some ppl know stretching techniques to relieve pain after workouts and practice like my coach does

Well there are different forms of stretching. There's the old school static stretching, where you sit down and pull & reach on your limbs. The majority of competent trainers & coaches who are worth the salt, use dynamic exercises to warm players up. This article gives a good explanation of the difference between the two.
