TVP- dispelling The Fact from Fiction
well as most of u who hav tvp and hav read it already know, luke lowry claims a lotta pretty skeptical things. There is a tonne of info pakced in da tvp,and i wanna know wats da trueth, and wats just plain bs.The piont of this thread is to seperate the fact from da fiction in the stuff luke lowry claims like wat things actually wokr and r actually worth doing,is it real or just myth.
anyone can post a quetsion and anyone can feel free 2 give their opinion on it.

Re: TVP- dispelling The Fact from Fiction
ok, first off, he said we should not drink milk, he said milk is "harmful liquid" and has absolutely no benefits to your health. well, i do some researches, milk has pros and cons, i don't think all he said was true, i still drink my skim milk...
second, his window plan is not bad, but we have to consume at least 10 kinds of supplements in certain amount evertime we work out, that's...
third, his "ultimal health book" are full of nonsense talks, but some are helpful.
fourth, just look at the title, "double your vertical"?

Re: TVP- dispelling The Fact from Fiction
i think everthing in the vertical project is true but i think it will take longer than he says to double your vertical, because it took me 5 years to get where i was.

Re: TVP- dispelling The Fact from Fiction
He doesn't exactly...talk BS, he just takes everything to the extreme. Plus those supplements, there's no way it can even be healthy to take in that many at one time, 6 days a week. Basically, you can believe him, just don't take it as seriously as he does because he just blows everything up.

Re: TVP- dispelling The Fact from Fiction
The mathematical solution he gives for doubling your vertical leap is quite frankly total crap. Doing more work and reducing your rest time doubles your work outout per workout but starts to make your training more cardio based.
Basically the claim that you can double your vertical (or keep improving indefinitely) following his mathematical guidelines is an out and out lie.
Devoting so much time to upper body is an unecessary tax on your bodies recovery systems. As mentioned the extensive supplement regime is not always going to be the best thing for your body. Milk is fine (if Kadour, Vince and the gang don't drink Milk I will be a monkeys uncle).
Also the TVP makes no allowances for an individual athletes strenghts and weaknesses. Some athletes need more strength work whilst others need more plyo based work. TVP is just a bunch of sets and exercises.
Finally, and this isn't in the program but relates to how trust worthy Luke Lowry is, but he has been claiming to have been putitng the price up for YEARS and has been claiming to have a multi-million dollar offer for years. both of these claims have so far proven to be false.
One of the all time best articles ever about TVP is here:

It tells you all you need to know about TVP.

Re: TVP- dispelling The Fact from Fiction
i started jump training with about a 20 inch vertical. that was six weeks ago and now its 24. im bout to start vjb bodyweight and beginner plyos. how long does he say it will take me to double my vert with his program. it would have to take atleast 2 years i think.

Re: TVP- dispelling The Fact from Fiction
woah, thnx a lot guys,ya respones hav been great, alot o people will benefit from this.
first off, my take on the milk stuff is we should drink natural or organic milk anyway as it is better, and normal milk is full of ****, some people say its sooo good but i go wif luke on this one.i dont think it will make such a difference if u drink milk or not, but only hav natural and organic.same goes for all foods i recon.
All his mathematical srtuff about power output and all, unless u r someone who can undersatnd this stuff like redsoxfan or jadub for instance just dont even bother looking at it,it seems like a whole bunch of technical stuff getting u 2 believe wat his saying. i dought any of us have the time and patience 2 go through wit it, just follow a gud pre made program like vjb, jump experts of gmv.if u r on da advanced level though, do the 50inch vertical blueprint or vertical unlimitied package.
i havent read his optimal health 4 u thingy but i wouldnt trust everything he says 2 b on da safe side. like any of us r gone follow exaclty everything he says on his lifestyle changes and tat.
oh, yea and his sweet talk is all bull****
