Unhappy ok need some help and advice from everybody

I bought the Athletic Advantage jumping program and im on the 3rd week of training i have already got an increase in my vert. But as some of you may know high school basketball starts in about 2-3 months and i would like to have the maximum vert increase before then and prove my friends wrong im currently 6 foot 2 and can jump some where around 24 inches and i still cant quite dunk. What is yalls advice to what i should do on top of this program to get a good vert increase before then. All advice is greatly appriciated.

Thx in advance,

Lurch

Hi Lurch

the best thing to do is just follow the program. More training isn't necessarily going to translate into quicker gains. Quite possibly more training willr educe your gains. If anything focus more on your recovery. Get more sleep. Take afternoon naps if you can. Really focus on your diet and avoid eating too much junk. Make sure you take the time to do the stretching. Get a sports massage if you can as it will help ease out the muscle soreness. Maybe do some work on your actual jumping technique to improve your co-ordination and the ease of whcih you jump.

Ath advantage is reasonably taxing and does a lot of work on the CNS which takes a bit longer than the msucles to fully recover. So don't gett too carried away doing a whole bunch of training.

Regards
