I am 14 going to highschool and i am 6.2 and i have been weight lifting for a year didnt stop my growth and its not it my genetics. My dad is 5.7 my mom 5.5...

Alright Im not a part of this argument so I wont get too into it, but Ill give my 2 cents. Have you ever noticed bodybuilders taking growth hormone/steroids? That increases their testosterone levels, but its a fact that the drugs they take doesnt just increase their muscle size but bone size too. Lifting weights increases bone density so I dont see why it should stunt growth. Im not taking sides here (don't know anyone here anyways) but this is just my $0.02 .

yea dude thats true, but you do know how tall they are right? there between 5'5-5'8

that info that unknown101 said is probly bull crap cuz on wiki you can just say what eva you want some random you has never lifted weights could have said that shit even tho the dont no its true. i bet you that all the shit is just opinion

your a fucking idiot, yea they let you edit stuff but most of the things are PROTECTED fucking douche. You dont just go to a page and edit it like that you fucking goonie. Why cant you fucking release basketball is a skill sport, those 2 hours your working on your vert you can work on your jump shot, just keep on lifting weights k? . i have FREINDS in AAU, Yea they workout but not like you guys you guys put vert ahead of everything. The coaches look for SKILL not fucking athleticism fucking idiot, THIS ISNT FOOTBALL. can a mod just lock this thread or some shit

and yeah i gess lots of people do put vert b4 anything else and its cuz they have goals in that area. im sure there is people that work shit loads on there jumper and handles (me being one of them) theres guys on this forum that spend hours and hours shooting and dribling and i bet they could skwl you anyday so yeah dont be hating everyone man
