Default Starting Vertical Jump Bible

I'm about to start the Vertical jump bible beginner Plyometrics routine, is that all i should be doing right now, because earlier on it says about strength trainning and other stuff.

My stats are in my sig so any help or tips you could give me would be greatly appreciated

Do the bodyweight strength training as well. When i started i had worse stats than you but ive gained 6" in 2 months.

ok thanks, i wont really be able to start the bodyweight bit until im 16 cos i need a gym really and you arent allowed to use weights in there until you are 16...only 2 months to go though.

buddy...i started lifting weights when i was 13... it doenst matter as long as you have good form and dont use too heavy of a weight

you will benefit greatly from Weights cuz if you cant squat/deadlift 1.5 bodyweight your abilities will be severely hampered

you dnt need weights for the body weight program, it includes exercises using your own weight, i found it quite hard when i first started out.

ok cool, I've never done weights (done chin-ups, press ups and tri-cep dips loads before) so i dont know much about it ... what weights/ equipment should i get for home use, seen as i cant use the gym yet

dam sorry i've found another bit i dont understand (either cos im stupid or i haven't really thought about it ).

It says in the begginner plyo section " If used in conjuction with any other strength-trainning program the frequency should be reduced to 2 times per week"

i am doing the body weight section aswell, does that mean i reduce the plyos to 2 or keep them at 3 times a week.

uh if you were to do bodyweight fro lower body... pistol squats are excellent, tho u prob cant do it first.

strat by holdiong on to somthing and do iso holds with pistol squats. you shuld ask redsoxfan he can do pistols real good

ya i am 13 and been lifting for 3 months...

but use bodyweight people get good gains from that too.

u hav 2 be 16 to use weights at ur gym? as soon as im 14 i can get a membership 2 ma gym where i can use all the equipment including the squash courts. only 3 months to go
