sports trainers responses on performing sports.
i emailed 100 different proffesional either strength trainers, sports conditionists, runners, nutricianists i will post everything they send me in my email. it may take some time for me too get responces.
the types of question i asked were stuff about vertical jumping, speed trainining, nutrician, strength training and stuff like that heres my first email.
below are there responses i have not posted a lot of them yet.
Short hill sprints at top speed are good for power and speed. As for plyo's there are entire manuals on the subject. Definitely take the time to read up and do the necessary research. There is no short answer.
Max strength work is also useful, as it will increase power potential. Squats, glute ham raises, etc... all useful, in conjunction with speed/power work.
Also, don't overlook the obvious (sprint to become a better sprinter). Jump to become a better jumper.
practice is the mother of all skills
Best of luck,
Ross enamait.
