yea they both trained to be ripped but they do different exercises to get ripped bodybuilders focus a lot on squat and benchpress. and power lifters focus on that plus explosive movements like snatches and power cleans.they also train like bodybuilders train usually more than power lifters. you can tell the difference because power lifters usually are more explosive. i tried to explain it i usually work with power lifter like people but i dont train with proffesionals i train with average people i do not have a heigh enough degree to teach them.

i am considered a personaL TRAINER BUT WITH ONE DEGREE AS YOU IMPROVE THERE ARE LIKE 12 DIFFERENT THINGS YOU HAVE TO BE TESTED ON THIS WILL TAKE LIKE TWO YEARS, NOT ALL places you go to become one are the same. i have the basic degree that explains how to do the exercises and how to create a program. i have not gotten it for nutriciun, plyometrics, isometrics and other stuff. though i do know a lot about that stuff i use that to help the people i train with most people wonder why im here. its because i like tob talk about this stuff and learn more about it from others who have trained, some may not care what i do but i have had about 40 messages about it sent to me. so i just wanted to answer that.

bodybuilders don't train for power because they just need to lift it not with any speed they just want to be ripped. power lifters lift with speed so do explosive workouts.

power is a measure of speed of muscle contraction redsox not of how much that muscle can lift. power and strength aren't the same you train differently for each because they are different things. for example someone with the strength to lift 200kg lifts it in say 2 seconds their power output would be 200 divided by 2 meaning that they have a power output of 100kg/sec. whereas someone who can also lift 200kg but has trained for power could say lift it in 0.5 secs giving them four times the power output. as you can see both are as strong as each other but the second athlete was four times more powerful

first that had to have been copied from tvp and second i said power lifters do explosive exercises and they aim to do them fast but they try lifting as much weight as fast as possible so they are trying to be explosive and ripped.
