My Workout... Does it Work?
Hello, I am a 15 y/o Male, 5'10, long arms, and I can grab rim or am very close to it. I weigh 140 pounds, and I would like to increase my vertical jump and general strength required for basketball (I also run track and play soccer). Since it's summer time, I am trying to do the following routine, and tell me your thoughts on it:
Run 2.8 Miles as fast as possible (20 minutes is my record)
50 Pushups
100 situps.
And then stretching.

Thanks. I downloaded it and read it and I guess I'll try it. Do you think I will see an increase by week 4? Because I am going to camp then and will not be able to do it for 2 weeks and then school starts and I won't be able to do it anymore.

Re: My Workout... Does it Work?
hey ill send you vertical jump bible since it is better for beginners stew
you guys should do beginner plyometrics & bodyweight exercises or novice weighttraining if you have access to weights.
and yea by week 4 you should be jumping 4 inches higher.

One last problem: I don't know how to do all of these excercises...should I just google them and try to figure it out or are they in the book somewhere I can't see?
