need some advice
im gonna back up with vjb (novice + bodyweights) a weeks later (ankle injury). should i wear an ankle support when i do the my workout? would wearing it hinder my gains? any advises for me to prevent reinjury?
btw, i would post my journals in the journal forum once i begin my workout.

yes wear an ankle brace or so, as long as you still have flexibility in your ankle wearing it you should be fine, and will not stop gains. but if your ankles are weak the strength you get from them will be weak and less results will be achieved so make sure your ankles strong enough to work out.

Re: need some advice
Yea i screwed up my ankle about 4 months ago and its still not perfect, i wear an ankle support.
I found that doing the Titanium ankle exercises make them better, i started doing them about a week ago and my ankle feels stronger already.
Search Titanium Ankles on youtube

I screwed up mine pretty bad though.
i did a lay-up in match and didn't realise how high i had jumped so i braced for impact way too early, my ankle kinda bent to the side and sprang back again, man it hurt like a bitch

Re: need some advice
lol? sorry but thats hilarious, you try to break someone else's ankle and end up breaking your own.
I am pretty good at killer crossovers and let me tell you, simple is best, dont try too hard or its gona be obvious. you gotta realize that the first directional fake must be calm and in control

Sorry, but you were being stupid tho....especailly if you did play for 8 hours. your skill level tends to regress rather than progress when you over train. not smart.. :|

Re: need some advice
i regretted about that. i mean i think i'm smart, i'm in all honor classes, but i reckon that this is one of the most stupid thing i did in my life. seriously if i didn't hurt my ankle, i think i would have crazy hops right now.
