is it better than squats and deadlifts for raising your vert?

PS my standing vert just increased by 1 inch lol and i didnt train it at all. Though tomoro is my first phase of VJB novice weights and i am expecting huge results. I still dont know how i got a 31.5 standing vert when i cant evn squat my bodyweigth. (and its mesasured correctly)

power cleans are pretty simple to learn i"ll look for a good site that explains it but basically you start out like a deadlift and instead of only pulling i up to your waist you flip it up across your shoulders

and thats gonna help with jumping O.o.. id rather stick to deadlifting
i dont really understand why you have to flip it on your shoulders and how thats gonna help with jumping
anyways even if i wanted to do that mu shoulders would fall off, and my chest would puncture or implode ^^

b/c when you jump you explode off of the ground to get as high as you can. when you power clean you explode off the ground like a jump to get the weight up onto your shoulders. it a jump like movement with weight resistance that also increases your fast twitch fibres, and it is a very good excercise for improving vertical leap. Have you ever seen olympic lifters on tv? most of the are very strong but also pack some wheight to them...so u may b suprised to hear that on avg a olympic lifter jumps over 30in. This is b/c they do explosive excercises, like power cleans...
