Talking Recovery

RECOVERYRECOVERYRECOVERY this is a thread about recovery, concerning diet, rest and things u can do in ya offtraining to improve ya vertical jump and physical well being for the best results.

DIET-
Drink AS MUCH WATER AS U CAN
boil ya water
eat as much fruits as you can
eat fruits first in every meal
try to eat fruit as ya breakfeats
eat as much vegetables as you can
eat fruit and vegies wit their skins on
try to eat them in their raw form
if u have to,steam your vegies
try to eat as much FRESh fruit and veg as possible
consume fruit and vegetable juices and the water u cook em in
avoid any type of soft drinks including juices
drink organic or goats milk instead of normal milk
eat more sprouts like alfalfa
eat only free range or organic eggs instead of normal ones
eat 1.5 hours before excersice
you must eat within 3 hours after excesice
have little or NO junk foods, oily fatty foods(u gotta make a commitment here people, this is vertical jump)
STRETCHING-
stretch regulary each day
strecth from the core of you body then to the arms and legs
depending on ya rest times,u should strecth in between sets in ya rest times...for only 10secs for the targeted muscle groups
Never strecth for like 2 or 3 secs then quickly release
AFTER TRAINING-
after training go into a very hot shower or bath for 3 mins then go into a cold shower for the last 40 seconds
BREATHING-
every breathe you take, breathe in through ya nose and out through ya mouth and make it exagrated
do this in ya spare time:
1. sit in a comfortable position wit ya back straight, either in a chair lying down or even standing up wit ya arms by ya sides
2.breathe in throuhg ya nose deeply and as u inhale, expand ya stomach
3.tilt ya torso bak slightly
4.hold da breathe for 4 seconds
5.let it out and deflate ya stomach
6.repeat after normal breathing comes bak
SLEEPING-
sleep at least 9 hours a night so if u have to get up at 7,goto sleep by at least 9
sleep with a window or door open and make sure there is always sufficient fresh air
sleep on ya back wit hands by ya sides
sleep without a pillow
sleep wit magnetic underlays and doonas
make sure u sleep on clean bed wear
have a power nap between 1pm-4pm each day it shoudl b less than an hour but more than 30min
do not consume large meals before bed
go to bed relaxed

some of these may sound stupid (when i first read it i had so many doughts, but after u try it u will feel the difference) and may take time to adjust to BUT WHEN USE IT IN CONJUNCTION WITH A GOOD JUMP PROGRAM LIKE VJB OR TVP IT PROVIDES THE BEST RESULTS if u dont belive me i can tell u all the scientific and complicated reasoning behind these claims to support wat i said. follow these guildlines and u will c very good results. dont b slack if u wanna b the best u can be follow wat i said, u have 2 b dedicated. if anyone would like 2 add some more u r free and welcome to do so.i will add more later on so keep an eye on thsi thread.

Wow, that's pretty good advice. I'm committed to jumping higher so I'll try this out with it.

prob mainly to do with neck, plus sleeping without a pillow kind of makes ur spine straighter in total making u taller. in most height e books and shit they tell u not to sleep with pillow because it causes ur neck to be in an akward position as when ur up and around ur neck is straight but when u use a pillow its like not normal.

yea but da piont here is not ya height...when u sleep without da pillow ya CNS (central nervous system) is in its natural position like wen u r standing or sumfim..this allows proper recovery of da cns and neuro transmitters that are important 4 increasing vertical leap. it is also da ideal posture 4 da human body..
