There are subtle changes and differences, but in a periodized program you can't have dramatic change. I know to the unknowing eye, the programs look surprisingly similar, but trust me when I say the programs are designed to offer subtle emphasized areas for each, and over emphasizing workouts to be "strength or explosive" in full would screw up the periodization, does that make sense?

lol i asked one thing about purchase u replied exercises dont differ??

the exercises can be kept the same as they are the most effective ones. the whole point is to look at the sets and reps of them then it becomes clear. even the order of the exercises change, it's quite dramatic when you get through a phase and you feel totally different forms of soreness based on if you took the pure strength or strength-explosion route

I've been looking around on the vertfreak 101 forum out of curiosity (I think it was Sim who advised me to have a look) and personally I'm quite impressed! I've read through a lot of testimonials and journals like Lakersfan7's journal and found his gains very inspiring. I'm thinking of buying it (too bad that I just spent 42$ on AVR), because the program looks really worthwhile, but I also heard that the programs price was going to be cut in half, so I'm going to wait and see a bit since I have a lot of time on my hands due to a couple knee problems (my left knee has patellar tendonitis and osgood schlatters).

Has anyone else read through/done the program? And if so, what did you think of it and what were your gains or impressions?

I'll be doing some more exploring on the forum, but you guys should also take a look, it's interesting!
Good luck,
Jeremy
