Don't do air alert, it hurts your knees. Do The vertical jump bible.

i def agree, i did air alert 3 n my knees have been sore, i am doing the vjb n i have gained about 2" in the first 3 weeks. air alert also trains for endurance which limits your explosiveness.

AA3 is one of the worst programs out there. I have tried it and now my knees are messed up. Some people get gains but thats just called "beginner gains". Since its the 1st time they actually train their jumping they might see some results with it but they could be even better with a program like VJB

Do the vertical jump bible (novice weights and plyos). If you want to be a better one foot jumper, I suggest working plyo's 3 times a week strength training 1 time a week. If you want to get better all around do plyos and strength training 2 times a week.

Here's some info about "habitual jump training"

YouTube - Habitual jump training: Does it work?

Check this out before you spend too much time with it.
