Something is wrong

I'm 5 foot 7'' but when I jump I touch the half of the net (6'' till the rim) but when i jump with the ball i barely touch the net and the ball is'n higher than half of the net.What's wrong?

It's Because when you don't have a ball, you can fully extend your arms and you can swing them for more impulsion..When you have a ball in your hand you cannot do the same thing..

That explains why some people can only dunk if they make the ball bounce from the ground or from the glass..They need their arms to jump.

If thats the case they need to strech their arms less and use their legs more for the explosive power not just half explosive and hae mega strech which is what I do when I touch the rim lol.
