Default whats your worst injury?

yo last Sunday I was playing and dove for the ball trying to get a steal.
Dude from the other team dove and we both collided. I hit the floor hard
with my hip and been having trouble walking now for two days. Can't even run. Going to the dr today to get some x-rays. This is my worst injury. I'm kind of curious to know If you been injured and if so what was it and how long was you down for?

I've check dictionary and dove means a pigeon or a person who favors promoting peace. What does dove that u used mean.

Anyway my worst is an ankle injury. It lasted for about 2 mths now and counting. I was rebounding up in the air and this bastard slipped his leg on my right leg landing path from behind and my ankle snapped as it landed then my body slipped straight down lying on the asphalt. I can't walk properly without a stick straight after. I've tried to walk home after that but it snapped again and again and I fell to the ground each time. The pain was increasing with each snap. My friend shouldered me home while both my hands used a stick for support.

Didn't know any ankle doc that time and decided to look for one the next day but the pain was very excruciating. Can't sleep the whole night, almost as I slept only 2 hrs, the rest of the quiet night kept shouting in pain even the backdoor neighbours can hear it. It was so painful I kept shouting. Periodically I ask my mum to come over to massage my injured leg to relieve a bit of the pain.

Now the pain is almost gone.

Injured my ankle a few weeks ago. How? I drove to the hoop off a crossover to my right and went for the lay-up. New guy on the opposing team stepped in to block but I beat him to the jump. He jumped forwards and into me anyway from the front and there was contact around my midriff/lower chest and his hands dragged my elbows down. I fell down and landed on the fool's foot with my right foot; he pulled his own foot to the side before I had a chance to plant my left foot down. Right ankle rolled violently. The result. Fractured bone. Two dislocated bones in the foot, tenting the skin. Ruptured ligaments all around. Basically, my right foot after the fall was pointing inwards to the left and down. I hopped home for 40 mins and went to A&E/ER two days later when there was no improvement, if anything things were worse. They put me under morphine etc etc while they relocated the floating bones. It will be almost 2 months until I can put weight on my right foot again. Few months after that before I can do anything remotely intense with it.

ankles are the worst for me because sometimes they take so long to heel completely and you cant jump off 1 leg when your ankles hurt. They are also very easy to reinjure when they are not 100%. I've been dealing with a bad ankle all year. But probably other things like tearing your acl are way worse.

True, my knees are not injured but they are painful because of overuse and my doctor said if I don't rest that might lead to arthritis, which might be the worst injury/disease ever.

Reading you guys' injury experience makes me feel a little better because I always think my life is very unfair.

I'm the most miserable kid compared to all the guys I know, I sprained both my ankles twice, both knees got inflamation right now, one surgery on my hamstring, a potential tomor (hopefully not a bad tumor) on the back of my head and my eyes can't see anything without contacts.

I will have arthritis in my right foot as a result of my injury. It will be very mild though but it will get worse as I get older.

I did dribble and shoot train occasionally during down time. It was painful when I try to run at that time and I can't jump as normal.

dammmit..I went to dr office yesterday and they took xrays of my hip. Got a slight fracture and the end of it. Dr says its no big deal though and theres nothing he can do, just need to let it heal. He says I can do some easy and slow training in about three weeks.
