Best speed and/or strength training ebook or DVD
What do you think is the best speed and/or strength training ebook or DVD. I'm looking for any strength and speed training ebook or DVD on the web and after seeing all those stuff I wonder which one should I get.
Have any one of you tried those programs to improve speed and strength?
By strength I mean to include the upper body too.
And they should eventually relate back to basketball, because basketball is my life.

Re: Best speed and/or strength training ebook or DVD
Hater aid you over rate plyometrics highly. The fastest way and this is proven is to increase strength for most people. P90X is highly overrated and expensive. The vertical jump bible is a great resource for most people and is way better the P90X. So go do your plyometrics religiously but you would be better off increasing you squat another 100lbs. Also, preaching a very expensive program to newer people is a waste of your and their time.
The vertical jump bible is a great resource for all those looking to increase there vert. Plyometrics are helpful but only to an extent.

Re: Best speed and/or strength training ebook or DVD
Defrancos made a very good DVD on stregnth he even made a vertical jump program and a dvd for the NFL combine. Take a look at the stregnth DVD I want to get it but I have no money right now.
DeFranco's Training - Products
If I were you I would also look around on his site tons of info on improving your athleticism.

I have the DeFranco DVD and it is excellent. It isn't an actual workout program but it does explain the training philosophy he uses to build strength, speed and power with his athletes.
Cheers
