honestly spending that money to train just your calves makes no sense at all.

you could get many other programs, equiptment cheaper.

Jumping involves more than just your calves. So no, I would not recommend this if you are looking to drastically increase your vertical jump. Like mentioned above, stick to or start with free weights.
