Im 16 6'0 140 pounds my runing vert is 24. Ive gained 4 inches on my vert from playing basketball and doing p90x whenever i feel like it which is like once every 2 weeks sometimes 3 times in a week, it veries. Realisticly if i do
p90x 3 times a weeks until the end of august can i imrpve my vert enough to dunk? p90x is basicly 60 minutes of Plyos with 45second breaks every 15minutes.
WHat should a guy like me do if ive done aa3. I think i have a good plyometric base and i am a 2 leg jumper so i think i have a good strenght base too. help plz

Yea, but you can't make explosive strength without having strength. There's also other ways to get explosive strength like jump squats and stuff like that.

Wrong I believe. Plyos among other things train SSC, reduce inhibition effects.. The reactive property of muscles and tendons help you produce force. You want explosive strength? Sit on a box and relax. Then jump up from that position onto a high platform The ability to voluntarily turn on as many muscles fibres (and keep them on) is real explosion. Train RFD after/as foundation of strength is developed. Use plyos you enhance performance further in a sports environment.
