What program to do?
Hi guys, so I've been reading around and wondering what I should use.
I'm 15, Asian, and play high school and AAU basketball. I'm around 5'9", which a very limited vertical (around 20 or less). I trained a couple times with different programs just to get a feel for it. I'm basically fit, have a pretty strict diet with little fat/sugar and lots protein, and run frequently (games/practices/workout).
I currently own:
- VJB
- VP
- Athletic Advantage
- HoopsKing's MVP program
- JumpATTACK by MJ's trainer, Tim Grover
- 2 Unopened Adenotrex bottles (mother's afraid that it contains steroids and/or harmful hormones, stunt my growth, etc)
- JumpSoles
- Access to gym from around June on
Anyone know what I should do? Please include like what program I should start with, beginner, etc.
P.S. - I pretty much have any amount spending money, so do you recommend purchasing anything else? I think I have basically all I need, but I'd like maximum effects from my training.

Re: What program to do?
From what I hear, start with either VJB or Athletic Advantage (f it has weight training). Evaluate where you are weak and work on that.

I actually bought every single thing on the list, and since I have the book version of VJB and everything xD
Anyhow, I think I'll see what JumpATTACK looks like when it gets here. I'm probably gonna start with a program sometime soon, but I'm afraid the Platform Shoe program with AA will cause shin splints or something. Should I go with Bodyweight program for now?
And should I take Adenotrex or anything? I'm kinda doubtful that it works :/
I'm currently reading through VJB during my spare time. I tried a couple AA workouts previously and took about an hour/hour and a half to complete the entire thing, including stretching and ab exercises. >_<
So basically is AA the best program out there? And should I try to get to a gym as soon as possible?
And about Adenotrex...>_>

Yes. Pencil in your training days and times in your calendar right now. You are a novice. All you need to do is to get up off your ass and train. Consistent progression. It is pointless trying to figure out what the "best" program is out there. You need to do a few and learn how your body responds to different training methods. Good news is that as a beginner pretty much anything will work.

Re: What program to do?
Thing is, my mom said she'd only get me gym membership after school ends, so basically at the end of June.
What should I be doing 'til then? I was thinking maybe bodyweight and ab exercises from AA, with just basketball training in general.
