Smile Bench Press

Ey guys, so i got my hands on a bench press, just have to buy some weights which im doing soon, so i though id make this thread for sum help as ive nver lifted before neither for upper or lower body. Im 14 nearly 15 but i dont kno what training method to do and stuff if u guys can help me especially redsoxfan or bluegreyhound. So firstly how much weight should i do, i gues when i get the weights ill try found out my max 1rep which probly wuldnt be high, then how many reps\what weight do i use, how many days a week, how much rest\any other things that can help yeh thats all i can think of atm. Thanks in advance guys.

Start with the bar, and keep working your way up until you can't do it anymore. You might want to do 2 rep maximum since doing 1 rep might be a little dangerous if you are by yourself.

For the program and stuff, you might want to try ws4sb, on DeFranco's Training ..:: The Ultimate Way To Become A Better Athlete ::.. , ( go to the articles). You might be able to do a lot of the stuff there with just the barbell.

What are you aiming for?
Strength? Size? A combination of both?

A combination of both, coz i wanna get stronger for better driving\post up\rebounds and stuff, and size looks sexy so maybe like a session or week for size, and other for strength iono yeh, thanks

yo guys please help i got the weights today upto about 50kg including bar, hvnet realy tried yet, will later on like friday, but anybody got any workout\reps\sets\weight pleaase
