Default would this work for vjb and westside??

Would this bowflex machine work for both these programs?

No because machines like that are a waste. Just get a gym membership.

If you are going to buy anything for your home, buy:

- A power rack/cage
- Flat bench
- A 7ft Olympic standard barbell (20kg)
- Olympic weight discs (preferably a few bumper plates too if you want to do olympic lifts) e.g. 4x20kg, 2x15kg, 2x10kg, 2x5kg, 2x2.5kg

You can do all the big exercises with this and use the power rack to do chin ups and pull ups. If money is no object, buy a dedicated glute ham raise bench.
