The way Jordan trained was making the weekest part of his game the best part of his game and its just a continuous cycle. When people said all he could do was dunk he broke down his game and added upper body strength until he hurt them from all over the court.

I don't know if they still have it but on Jumpman23.com they have drills for all aspects of the game.

Sari, make sure that you get a lot of practice with your team in the time you have......if you can

call them all over during the off-season and use that time to practice WITH YOUR TEAM.....the more; the better

work out why you got kicked out of the playoffs in the first round...........wokr on your weaknesses

sure, individual practice is vital, but dont place too much emphasis on it that you neglect the team aspect................having good team chemistry is more important

dont forget about the ebooks forum which provides a host of great resources to help develop your game

but good luck with achieving your goals, stay positive and try hard

all the best for your team in the next season

I was in the same place as you not long ago and i found that i needed to be able to get my shot off easier.

i already had a 35+ vert so i started jumping as high as i can on every jumpshot... so i did.

not only did my vert majorly increase by like 5 inches my overall shooting increased heaps meaning i can shoot 3's with ease and never get blocked

Court vision is vital for being a point guard. It is basically knowing when to make the pass, and how. That's why all the great point guards were so great. They paid attention to everything that was going on on the court. They took risks, and there were turnovers, but they made up for it in assists. When you're playing, that's what you should strive for, not just crossing your man, but know where your team is, see who is open. It's alot to think about, but it's important.

well one thing that helps your court vision is juggling. sounds weird but its proven to work. it improves heaps including your vision. i can juggle anything pretty much, lyk those sticks u light on fire and knives and stuff. last season i got commented on in my grand final, ppl sed to my dad that my vision is amazing and i just seemed to know where everyone was on the court. so it works. also if ur training with a team, wear a patch over one eye, it will force your eye thats uncovered to look wider, after a while switch eyes. good luck

work on all aspects of defence not just lateral quickness.

i highly suggest that you get yourself a coach or someone to coach you

VJB plyos+weights should cover just about all your conditioning and physical training side of it.

i do know there are these goggle things you can get which you wear kind of like glasses and they help with court vision.

you are giving yourself quite a job there sari, being the point guard for a new team in a higher grade is not easy.
