Default week off of vjb?

hey guys i just finished phase 2 of the reactive program of vjb and was wondering if i should take a week off just to get refreshed and finish strong. ive gained bout 1 to 1 1/2 inches so far, but really had no rest. am gonna focus on shooting and do a lot of dribbling drills so ill still be running on the time off. is this a good idea? will it really throw off the program cuz i feel like getting refreshed would help a lot

dont stop, its a continuous program with no intention of resting periods, the maximum days of rest in between workouts should be no more then 4. If you are injured however its cool to stop where you are...

I dont think ive ever taken off more then 3-4 days rest during a program, i just wait to rest 1-2 weeks after the program.

it says its a good idea to take a week off between phases, after all u gain when u are resting, so i think its a good idea to take it easy for a week

If you've only gained 1-1.5 inches then I would reccomentd taking a week off and during this week off you should see some good gains.

no where does it say to take weeks rest in between phases... go read it again, it says in between programs lol.. your body isnt supposed to be resting all the time...

Actually, someone on here emailed kelly awhile back, and said it could be beneficial to take a week off after each phase, but looking at your results, I don't think it's needed.

yeah i guess your right, a weeks rest in between phases would be good, but only if its high volume, the way kelly sets out his programs is designed to create progressive overload, in some phases and tapering by reducing the volume (particularly last 2 phases) This way it assures your body is always adapting and your muscles continue to be stimulated. , nehow i dont think you should rest, but you can
