Default question for the nutrition experts

I always eat a breakfast, but what kind of meal do you recommend for a person who has limited resources (types of food) to make for a healthy breakfast meal.

Btw my school lunch doesn't seem all too healthy either so if tyou have any advice for home lunch for something then that will be appreciated to.

Thanks in advance

Eggs, whole grain bread, brown rice, and some fruit. I eat a lot of brown rice. I like to steam it with chicken broth instead of just water, this gives it good flavor. For lunches, that's a little more difficult. I eat brown rice with almost every meal. It's cheap, easy to make, and store. I would say a good sandwich, some brown rice, fruit, and seeds or nuts. I snack on almonds (very good energy source), hazelnuts, and raw sunflower seeds. Stick with whole grains, even if you eat pasta, go for whole grain pasta. I'm not sure how limited your resources are.

No, see brown rice, unlike white, has all the dietary fiber intact. This actually will reduce fat. You need carbs for energy, and the whole grains are the very best way to go. I also mix in a grain called Quinoa, it is from Peru and is very high in protein and amino acids. It is one of the most complete FOODS in the world. I find it hard to eat by it's self, so I mix it with the brown rice after they are both steamed separately.

Raw almonds for sure. Stick with nuts and seeds for snacks, go with raw, and unsalted as much as possible.

That is a fine breakfast, add in some skim milk, maybe a couple eggs, and that would be perfect. The macadamia nuts are not as good as almonds, and some other nuts. I know how Hawaii is with the macadamia's.... but they have more fat, less carbs and dietary fiber, as well as less protein. SOOOO, if you have to, I guess they're a better snack than a snickers bar, but not as good as some other nuts and seeds.
