Default Arnolds Bicep Workout

Arnold had huge mount everest peaked biceps which every1 greatly admired. How he developed them i will u tell u now.Early in his career arnold schwarzenegger did 20-25 total sets for his biceps during each workout, but towards the end of his competitve career he did only a little more than half that number. This was becoz he cud train with more intensity and he also didnt want 2 exaggarate his biceps and throw off overall proportions. Late in his career, arnold preferred 2 do 3 exercises with 4 sets of 10 reps on each movement. this would be barbell curls, concentration curls and alternate dumbell curls. he would use the stripping method for barbell and dumbell curls. This consisted of 3 sets within each set, done with a quik weight reduction between them. in other words he wud do several reps with a heavy barbell then have sum plates stripped off while he took a short rest-pause. immediately after the plates were off he wud do a few more reps, strip off more plates and finally force out a last few very hard reps

I don't think that this biceps stuff has anything to do with basketball. But anyway using steroids can make you stronger even if you don't lift. But those gains wouldn't be very much. If you want to get bigger and stronger then you need to workout. Steroids or no steroids. In fact that is one of the benefits of using steroids. Your body recovers faster so you can workout more often. So if you aren't using steroids then doing a workout program intended for someone who is using steroids might overwork your body. But this doesn't mean that a workout routine is no good just because the person that used it also used steroids.

My point is even on steroids you still want a good workout routine.

guys the stripping method is a tried and proven technique for muscle/strength training gains

if arnold use steroids or not can be debated,tat is not the topic here

ppl this is not only the jump and basketbal section,it includes overall training aspects aswell

i dont know what steroids has got 2 do with anything here folks

bws4life remember this forums are primarily basketball,specifically streetball associated

much of this section has got to do with vert training/bball drills,if not all of it
