Exclamation How Many Inches Do YOU Need To Dunk

4 every1 dat wants 2 no dat answer 2 dat question follow these instructions and post how many inches u need 2 dunk cleanly

1. 2 start add up ur reach and runnin vertical leap (RVJ)

??? (ur reach) + ??? (ur RVJ) = ???

2. Take ur answer from above away from 127" (height needed 2 dunk cleanly)

127" - ??? = ???

(Step Three is optional but is recommended if u want 2 figure out wat ur vert needs 2 b so u can dunk do it)

3. Finally add the answer from step three 2 ur vert and ur answer is wat ur vert needs 2 b 2 dunk a basketball through a regulation 10ft hoop

??? + ??? = ???

usin me as an example dis is how i did it

73" + 18" = 91"

127" - 91" = 36"

So i need 36 inches 2 dunk

18" + 36" = 54"

My vert needs 2 b 54 inches 2 dunk

HOW MANY DO U NEED???

pce yall....

yeh except the ball is 9 inches, and u dont have to get the full 9 inches over thje rim, its about 6 to dunk cleanly. i need to jump 5 to touch the rim plus another 6 is 11. i wanna gain 11 inches by august, but i would have grown a few inches by then so if i grew 2 inches i would need 9 inches. so thats my goal, 9 inches by august

Why is it 129'' in the first step and 127'' in the third, is it typo or what?

I need about 5 I think, but I hurt my ankle over 3 months ago and cant jump hard of it. I've still been doing weights and plyos and my standing jump has went up 3 more inches so who knows by the time my ankle feels better I might be ready to dunk.

Height 6'1 (maybe a little taller)
Weight 165 lbs
Reach 96 inches
RVJ 27-29 inches (on the 7th week of a 12 week program so not accurate)

I don't know. Should I be able to dunk? I tried a couple of times and was pretty close. Someone please help me with the math.
