usin me as an example dis is how i did it

73" + 18" = 91"

127" - 91" = 36"

So i need 36 inches 2 dunk

18" + 36" = 54"

My vert needs 2 b 54 inches 2 dunk

For those of you who "should" be able to dunk but can't, there is something that most people overlook that is really pretty tough. If you cannot palm the ball pretty well, you are going to have a really hard time dunking a basketball. I can do a million kinds of dunks if I use a soccer ball or a tennis ball or whatever, but with a basketball I can do 1 hand, 2 hand RARELY, and an oop maybe 1 out of 20. My highest touch is 10'9'', so if you plan on doing some legitament in game dunk you should touch around 10'11'' I would guess...

thats only if u cant palm easily, i think most ppl on here can. most ppl said their hands were around 8-9 inches. thats what mine are and i can palm easily.

Today I played a basketball game for school and after it, since I was warmed up and everything I thought I'll try dunking it. I tried a feww times. The first few attempts were very close. I clearly got high enough to dunk but just couldnt get the ball to go in. Then I went up for the last time and I got pretty high. I tried to dunk it but instead kind of threw it in then grabbed the rim. Not a dunk but the best attempt so far.

So I guess about 1 more inch, maybe 2. Looks like I'll have to keep on working on it!
