Default How to Jump

I find my jumping style inconsistent, sometimes i can grab the rim, sometimes i cant even touch it, definately pisses me off. Ive been trying to get my arms into my jump but its not always consistent.

Does anyone have a right efficient way to jump, i know some people approach the basket from the side and take a roundabout to it.

Yea, I run to the rim in a circular motion and i take 1 big step then i get down low really quick and as fast as possible blast into the air as hard as you can, the faster you can spring up the higher you will go.

Jumping form and technique is covered in The Vertical Jump Bible. I think that there is an article on it on Kelly Baggetts website. But I can't find it at the moment.

ya i wouldnt recommend stretching. I also find i jump a little higher when i before i even warm-up i enter a pick-up game. Like without even jogging or anything i just start sprinting right away. I think it fires up muscles

i recommend dynamic stretching b4 and static stretching afta any workout

if u dunno wat dynamic stretchs r search it up on google
