Default Tvp

Now I've read through it twice, and I can't for the life of me believe him on some points. A colin cleanse? Who's he kidding? Other things seem more accurate.
Anyone done it and can vouch for certain aspects? I'd just rather not force myself to drink only juice for a week if I didn't have to.
Also UPN number, is that for each exercise? And where in it does it tell you about what weights to use? Oh and the fruit thing, is that really beneficial?

Sorry to ask so many questions but a lot of this isn't 100% clear and theres a lot of stuff he says.

you will see about the exact same results regaurdless of what you eat, just try to eat healthy and drink lots of water. I started doing this program and it wasnt hard for me to follow. I decided to stop doing it becasue you need to do pool plyos and my pool is kind of cold right now. Im going to do the program religously in the spring when my pool is warmer. plus ill be more advanced i can already get rim, i think if i keep training till may or so and then complete tvp ill be able to dunk.

That stuff might help. It's probably not the most effective stuff you could be doing for your vert. But improving your health will have some benefits. The question is do you really need a colon cleanse etc... or would you be better off using that week to eat a good training diet? That's probably going to depend upon the state of your health. But if you have the program you should probably just follow it unless you really know what you are doing.

It feels like he's thinking that after people pay 300$ they expect to be told to do rediculously crazy stuff. My guess is that he threw in the colin cleanse to just seem like something out there, much like the fruit heavy. His main reasoning for fruit is because it has lots of water and is easier on the body. I'm good on water, and how much easier is it on the body? I'd love if redsoxfan could put his 2 cents in cuz he seems to be quite knowledgeable.

yeah your right he probably thought i better put ever little possibe thing into this program if im gonna charge 300, I really dont think theres a way to say exactly how much easier it is on your body. But he says its cuse fruits are easy for your body to digest, so you will have more energy than normal because your body wont waste as much energy digesting the fruit as it would say a hamburger.

AJ you are right. Juicing up for a week is a detox. As is the colon cleanse. These things have actually been shown to be quite beneficial (even if they are totally disugusting to think about). I am not bashful about telling people how little I think of TVP, but a lot of the things Luke talks about in that particular section are indeed helpful to your health and well being. Some of it I am dubious on such as the magnetic underlays on the bed and the milk thing.

I mean come on we have been drinking milk for years. I remember reading in an Anthony Robbins book about how he also banged on about milk being bad. He suggested giving yourself a month without any dairy and you would see such a huge difference that you would never go back. I went the month with no dairy I felt no different except my coffee wasn't as nice. There are however some people who don't digest dairy as well, and I am not just talking about the lactate intolerant so maybe Anthony and Luke are two of those people.

Anyway I digress. Basically that whole section of TVP is just about trying to get people to be a bit more healthy in their lifestyles. And as a concept that is extremely valid. Getting more sleep, eating healthier food, drinking more water etc without any doubt will improve your recovery times, your energy levels, your training output and your vertical gains.

There you go I have finally said something positive about TVP. Better balance that out - UPN theory is a load of crap as is the price.

Cheers

Jdub

Yo how does the UPN system work? Is it JUST the number of verts I can do in a row, or is it the number of perfect reps I can do for each exercise?
