Default starting vjb

im startin vjb begginner plyos tonight and i was wonderin can i do vjb bodyweight in season?

would i stil lget some vert increases as if i did plyos

im pretty sure u wud get vert increases with plyos......but like Skyhigh said dont do it during season

you would still get about the same amount of inches as plyos.

Standing Vertical: 24-24.5 inches
Running Vertical: 25-26 inches

no you will not gain the same amount of inches as doing plyos and weights but you will probably be able to get about 55 percent of the inches you would have gained if you were to do both of them.

well im in-season now so i guess ill just do body weights and do plyos on off season

if your in season then wouldn't you get enough plyo's from just playing?

(besides probably exercises like depth jumps)

thats exactly y we say
weights in seasons
plyos in nonseason

what do u have to do in season? for me its 1 game a week and one training a week. plus when i just shoot around at homew. i dnt hav an off season, we play all year around and coz im not doing lyk 3 trainings a week i am doing plyos as well as bodyweight and it working well for me.
