Default VJB Queston Thread

Hey I thought since there are like a million questons on vjb and stuff why doesn't a mod or someone make a thread just for questons or something or you can use this thread to ask VJB questons.

first of all side their is not a sisde to side twisting lunge exercise description in the VJB (when i needed to do it, i looked through it loads of times,

okay, go on this http://www.orcasurf.co.uk/surfgirl/f...rl-missfit.htm (scroll down and theirs a description)

basically do what the description in the link says but don't use weights, when i twist to side i did 3seconds out 2seconds back in.

i saw many versions of twisting lunge, this one looks easy, i saw the one you are in lunge position and then twist to the side and touch the ground with your hand.

Greetings!!

This is my first time on these forums. I trained a couple of years ago with Air Alert, and 2 months later i got my ankle injured.. Now i'm re-starting to play basketball seriously and i really want to train my vertical once again. I'm 5,11 and i can touch the 10ft rim.. but that's it.

Now i want to get serious about it.. doing some research i stumbled upon this program The Vertical Jump Bible...
My problem is that for what i've been reading that program uses a lot of weights.. and that's something i don't have right now. I thought initially it was strictly plyometrics, but it seems that's not the case.

So the thing i wanted to know is this: is it really worth it?. What about a guy like me who at the moment cannot spend money going to a gym?. What can i do with this program?. I could make the sacrifice to go to a gym.. besides the money my main problem would be the time availability.. but if the program is really worth it (unlike Air Alert) i could make the aditional effort to get it done.

So all i want is some kind of advice

By the way, where can i found this program?

Thanks a lot guys , see ya around
