Hey guys, okay, well im kinda pissed at the moment. before i tell you why, i'll give you a lil background.
earlier this year, i did AA3, and completed 10 full weeks of it. I didn't do it properly, it was crap, and i stuffed my legs/knees. I stopped AA3, and my legs were never fully recovered, they were always very weak, etc. for a full 6weeks. I'm pretty sure my vert decreased a little, but thats not the point. I dont know why, but it seems after doing workouts, my legs arent recovering in the 1 week rest that everyone says to take after completing a program/phase.
Now i'm doing vjb(slightly modified a bit) and after 3 weeks my ankle was a little sore, so i took a rest for a week. It's been 2 weeks now, and my muscles are still tired, weak, fatigued. What's wrong? I'm not recovering etc. and I dont wanna keep pushing and working out til they are coz i might damage my legs like i did with AA3. Am I not getting enough protein or something? I usually drink my protein shake straight after my workout(about 10mins after).
I don't wanna hafta wait like 6 weeks for my muscles to recover, coz that means 5 weeks of VJB workouts gone, so what do i do?
