Re: losing weight
is the weight more muscle or fat??
if its muscle, id say jus keep it, cant hurt
if a lot of its fat, diet a little, eat less, and healthier, run, do sprints, bike ride wahtever you can for excercise, and then lift weights if u can, it speeds up your metabolism so you can lose weight even faster, and if you really want to do this try to do sumthin every day (lift, cardio)
and 175 isnt big, if youre gonna lose weight, replace as much as u can with muscle, cuz im 6"1, 170 and i used to be 5"9,160 i replaced a lot of the fat with muscle and its a huge advantage---

Re: losing weight
just to clarify, by eating less, do NOT eat so little as to you're hungry a lot, because your body goes into "starvation mode" and just retains every single fat your body intakes. To lose weight, you need to burn more calories than you intake. Treadmills, Eccliptecal (spelling?) machines, biking, basketball, weights, plyos, etc.
If you're serious about this, you could do a "detox" period, of 4-9 days of only fruits and vegetables. Total fruits and vegetables, no meat, wheat, etc. That will clean out your body, and keep up the healthy stuff and ease back on in with the meats, eggs, etc. Less/no fast food, you get the point.
it's up to you what to do though.

Re: losing weight
Alright th3b3ast15 if you want to impress your coach seriously why do you need to lose wieght? But because you said you want to show off why don't you show him your overall skills and that your becoming a better team and individual player on the court.

Re: losing weight
i understand why he would want to lose weight to impress the coach becuz my homie he like 6'9 and idk how much he weigh but he aint a bony ass mutha fucka but he aint fat either hes chunky but like muscle like n his coach tellin him to lose weight n shit like that tryna have that nigga flyin across town errtyme the wind blows cuz he to lite... so if ya coach tellin u to lose weight then i see why but u still shouldnt cuz u gonna be a fuckin monster aint nobody gone be able to handle big bodies

elyptical i think, and i dont think that the fruit things is a great idea, one massive diarhhea, 2-more fruit is a good idea, but u get almost no protein and other important vitamins
also, u dont need to burn more calories than you take in because even if ur only takin in 800 calories a day(very little) ud have to run 6 miles to burn all those calories and more, u need to intake less than u normally do because ur metabolism takes care of calories without u putting on anything, but it doesnt do everything so do lots of cardio, and weight lifting to speed ur metabolism up--
