first of all, who all can dunk on these forums?

secondly, if one can touch (nearly grab) rim, would another 8 in. be enough to dunk? if not, how many more might be needed? (im just looking for a general, ballpark answer.)

ye its 8 inches for a first time dunk
but to be able to dunk everytime it's 'bout 10-12 inches BUT thats just a simple 1 or 2 handed dunk

its not as hard as it seems (i cant do it, but a friend of mine can) and he aint got that much more vert than me
im bout an inch and a half from the backboard n havent done any programs yet?

you need more like 36-38 inches to dunk if you 5'9, but its still a lot.
