just one of those things that takes experience in my opinion. pick up games are a good way to gain confidence and have fun.

Play people that you know that aren't very good..then slowly work your way up to boost your confidence..

i got the same problem.
my school is one of the best for basketball, especially my year. we have some really high level players and we all play together, i just dnt feel confident playing properly, lyk doing moves i normally would or playing good defense, i dnt know why but i just dnt.
well getting huge hops could help i think coz i could just drive and fly over them and get some respect

More experience will help, but just believe in yourself, keep pushing your self to the limit.

first of all u may take my advice or not
if u play some pickup games with ur friends u will find u r playing very well but when it comes to real games u dun konw wat to do thats a problem i had it and still little with me u lack confident on urself so the really way to take tht fear out of u ,do the wrong or do wat in ur mind if its wrong the ball may get stole of u get blocked its ok but u'll be already learned that that move in that place ain't be good to use so try other one thats called match experince and will give u confidence for playing for farther level wish i helped u

Yeah, speaking with girls is easy. Just be yourself and easy to get around with.
