well yes u can after a jump stop, but when there is a travel is when u lift ur pivot foot, it happens alot where a player lifts there pivot foot right before they bounce the ball, not many refs call it but its the most common mistake.

As long as you finish your jump stop on 2 legs exactly, then you can use either leg as pivot leg.

Yeah i think you can have a pivot foot after a jumpstop because i see alot of NBA players do that and the ref doesnt call anything.

after you dribble and go into a jump stop, you cant pivot. but if u catch the ball and land in a jump stop you can.

Best thing to do would be check with the League and refs.

From my understanding it iss...

Jump stop to catch the ball, if you land on both feet at the SAME time, choose either as a pivot and that's your pivot foot.

Jump stop to catch a ball, but if one lands after another, the one that lands first is the pivot.

Jump stop after the dribble (take 1 step), no pivot foot.

They rarely call it, but manyplayers lift their pivot foot before they dribble the ball.

You can't take two steps then jumpstop.
You can jumpstop and pivot if you only take off on one foot then land both feet simultaneously, I'm not sure if landing both foot at different times is illegal but most people who jumpstop land both feet at the same time.
