Re: my handling
Your gonna need way more than drills,so practice. At first couldnt handle the ball and i thought that was my reason for sucking, but now i can since ive practiced dribbling by myself. Yeah it has helped alot but not enough. I can own kids who cant defend but people who can still have alot of trouble. The only thing i can say is play against really good opponents and practice(maybe 1v1 people). Also youll need speed if you want to be good. I can dribble well but its not that fast and people who are really good ballhandlers have told me that a few times. Youll need speed to keep the ball when your being defended up close unless your just going to control dribble so you dont lose the ball and that wont help since you wouldnt be going anywhere.

Re: my handling
Dribble when you are walking some where. Keep dribbling.

Yea you don't need any drills..
Just select your favorite NBA guard and watch how he dribbles. Try to get that sort of flow.
Dribble up and down the court.. Think of what to do to make your handles better... Dribble fast, then slow and always try dribbling without lookin at the ball.. This may be difficult at first, but later gets real useful
Basically just keep dribbling. You just need to get the feel of the ball in your hands. Then you've got handles.

Re: my handling
I still think you will improve more if you do ball handling drills though. Lots of Chris Paul moves depend on fundamentals.

Look..
I smoke, I drank, dat got me lazy on da court now.
But when I warm up I go hard!
What I used to do is keep a ball with me like a pistol or somethin'.
Where ever I'm walkin', I got the ball on me ya' diiiiig?
Also try dribblin' for 1 min at least with your left and keep switchin up so you can have better control of the ball.
And don't forget to use ya' fingertips
One more thing... its not just about the handlin', its about the footwork too

Re: my handling
Dribble with both hands!! I realise that I can play much better since I can drive with both hands.

Re: my handling
just try and get ur foot in front of em. lyk what ya do is, ur defender in front of u, say u going right, u hold the ball in two hands on ya left side. quickly swing it to ya right side as u step with ur left leg, when u step, put ur left leg down outside his leg and brush past him, so u brushing shoulders and then explode to the rim. its in better basketball, better offence
