Nervous!!!

ok dudes i am so nervous my first game is tomorrow and i just have always got super nervous before any game and i always don't play as well as i would. got any tips on how not to be nervous plzzzzz.

just pretend that your playin a game with your friends at the courts or something.. if you start thinking about the crowd, your parents, whos watching you obviously your going to start feeling more and more nervous.. start thinking about the POSITIVES like how your going to play well and how everyone is going to watch how good you play... if you dont know what your doing on the court than you should be nervous.. but if your a good player than what do you have to be nervous about? nothing... go out there and the most important thing is to have FUN ...

just thinkin back to practice. i mean u worked hard in practice right? you know that you mastered your moves and you know you can get hit that outside shot. usually when your nervous, it means u dont have confidence in your abilites.

Yeah man, like they say "Play EVERY game like it's your last" Go out there and tell yourself your going to be GREAT, not GOOD but GREAT. Give it all you got, 110% percent. And if you wanna loosen up just joke around with your friends before the game. You know just be in a good and happy mood. No matter what be confident.

i cant remember wat NBA player said this but wen people say "play every game like your last" they said if you play bad u still got another game right ahead of you.

but wen your nervous just play as hard as you can remember the game plan and dont worry if you mess up. the biggest mistake players make wen they make a mistake isnt the mistake they make but the next five minutes after they make the mistake they arent in the right state if mind and make more.

keep your eye on the game an you should be fine. but if your nervous before you get on the court jsut listen to hype music. the adrenaline will over ride the nervous feelings. natural to be nervous though nothing wrong with that.
