Stand next to a wall, mark your highest reach. Jump next to same wall, mark your highest touch on the jump and measure the distance between the two. That's what I've always done.

try to reach as high as possible beside a wall and then record it.. its that simple..

TO measure your Vert reach as high as you can on a wall and mark it . then jump as high as you can and mark that. then measure the distance between the two and thats your vert. And are you doing AA3 ? If you are theres a good chance you will get injured. You should try something like VJB its alot better.
