Re: Yo all to the shorties (like me)
yeh baldex is right make sure you can shoot outside and mid range shot because you can kill it wen your short, cause to be a good driver you have to be a good shooter so they over play you and you can drive, must be a multi threat. i've got my 3 point shot to around 70% so i cant wait till my season starts. outside is a must for short guys.

Re: Yo all to the shorties (like me)
m, you dont need much arm strength to shoot, its mostly in your legs, practice perfecting your jump shot, if you airball - practice with a lower jump and then slowly work up, dont waste the energy from your legs so shoot as soon as you get to your high point.
And clear matt, im not really short, 5'10, - 5'11ish and I'm still growing pretty fast

Re: Yo all to the shorties (like me)
lol man i read the title and i thought it was about girls, anyways stephon and iverson get to the rack so efficiently bcuz ther not afraid.they dont care if they get stuffed, they go up strong, and once theyve proved that they can take it to the rack, thats when having a good jump shot comes in.

Re: Yo all to the shorties (like me)

is shorter than most other ppl in the and1 and his opponents?! So if u worked on ur handles...and got as quick as sauce... just sayin...

Re: Yo all to the shorties (like me)
nop, dot drill aint the only thing. Honestly man if you wanna see your true genetic speed potential, use weights and plyometrics, ive said this before and ill say it again. I personally have dropped my 100m in 1 year from 12.1/12.2 down to low 11 seconds. the main difference was going from a 1x bodyweight squat to a 2x bodyweight squat, from a 1.2 deadlift to a 2.3~ bodyweight deadlift along with the contribution of plyometrics.
Im also pretty small (5'10) but i can outjump any1 on the court, i can beat guys over 6'6 in jump balls etc. ive only had about 4-5 months of game experience, so once i get some more and learn to harness my speed whilst dribbling and driving, ill be like devon harris or barbosa haha! cept with massive hops lol

Re: Yo all to the shorties (like me)
hey yo dont think im short ive got bad handles, jesus i wanna be sauce man hes the best i work on my handles all the time, i realised i was short so i knew handles was a must and yo bladex you said i should shoot from the high point of my jump, when i get to the high point my arms dont have must strength i usually shoot when i jump but you say jump to your highest point then shoot ill probably airball my free, usually i find that jumpin for my frees arent very helpfull too much energy can be bad. Not saying that that was bad advice, My handles arent the best but its an average, ipractice like sauce i bounce like him i try to every thing thats lik him so i dont knoe, also usually have my handles to get to the basket, layuping is bad when theres a gigantic guy near the hoop. Also you know im very confident, I run up to the rack then BAAAAAAM!
(You think i just dunked but i got blocked)
By the way im 150 something cm so i dont know how much that is in inches,
So I need my vitals:
Speed/quickness
Jumpshot
3s
Handles (you can never be too good at handles)
Oh p.s. Hotsauce is the best (I'm like him cause I CANT shoot yeay!)
