I'd say canadian and american schools start around the same time, so around september, near the end of the first week - the day after labour day usually.

If you are good enough to play D-1 you will. If you live overseas its about who you know though mostly

we end around the mid-end of june

college usually starts sometime in august.

oh, thats kinda weird for australians coz i will finish school in december and then college would start in august, well thats kinda annoying lol

Sorry to say to all you australians, but if you want to get into a D-1 school in the USA you pretty much have to be one of the 10 best players in your country for your age.

If your good enough thats where you go to play against good competition in australia.

nah u dont have to play for them. and i dont think its top 10, australia is a BIG place. if u can get your name known then i think u can play in america if u are good enough but u dont have to be top 10. what i would have to do is, play for a rep team, get in to the no1 team, play for victoria, or if im old enough i would have to play for the vbl first i think and seabl. we have a lot of leagues leading up to state but if u are in the 1 team for your club they can send u to tryouts for state and if u stay in there u end up in nbl, but basicly if u could play for victoria that is as good as playing for an american state

You dont have to be top 10, just be on a good team, and show the scouts what they want to see, a balanced player
