Now I made the school team and he's telling me to quit playing ball or I'll regret it forever. He said it'll be the biggest mistake I've made. It's like he has a grudge against basketball, he just sees me touch a ball "You think about ball too much, Go Study" Man I average 5 A's per term. He wants me to quit ball to fucn get him straight A's. What do y'all think? Quit ball and forget about it? Or Keep ballin
keep ballin man prove him wrong

Just do what you think you are good at, it doesn't matter what other people think

You know what? Many NBA players went through lots of challenges when they were young, but they did it. They never gave up.
And so shouldn't you. Never give up on your passion.

as long as you keep your A's you have no reason to stop ballin, you will be guaranteed whatever you want with grades like yours so dont let him get you down, use any negatives he gives you on the court then you can prove that you dont suck

it's a proven fact that students who partake in a form of sporting exercise will perform better than a student of similiar ability who deosn't. providing they have the right balance of sport and study obviously. it acts a stress relief

the real triumph in life is not the achievement but surviving the struggle to reach it.

I gave up track and other sports when I was 16. I spent time on getting my grades up. In hindsight it was the right thing to do. But it hurt to give up something I loved doing. In the end, I convinced myself I didn't really have the talent to make it big time. Track is transparent you see - your times don't lie.
