try goin up wit 2 hands. and practice at gyms by yourself. drive to the basket and go straight up. then when your in the air move th ball to 1 side n try and make it. idk wat else 2 tell u
when u take those 2 steps, ya hop stop, and/or when u in the air. keep the ball movin. dont just lay it straight up cause thats swat captain all day. if u move the ball to the left then right then down then up then lay up ( any ramdom movements ), the D is gonna swat for the ball 1 of the times, but u have it movin so hes gonna miss. just remeber, its never to late to fake somebody.
wat skip sed...dont keep the ball still....even if ur stepping in the same direction u can use the ball and your head to trick the D...try learning how to prohop...that really helps...i probably shudnt explain it though cos i really onli got it down properly not so long ago.

hehe. practice your hang-time. i mean people think that others got better hang-time but it's just a matter of practice of coordinating your movements. oh yeah it's also good to bump into them sometimes. it's either you'll get blocked or you get off a shot. careful for charges though
