need water to stay hydrated, when ur dehydrated you just lag and want to do anything but play, ----protein bars are better than pop tarts because even if they do give the same energy, protein bars generally have less fat, and less sugar making them more healthy, and i wouldnt recommend eatin a lot of KFC before playing because it can make you sick (though ive never tried)
